Der Fotograf Nihad Nino Pušija (Berlin/Sarajevo) zeigt Fotografien aus seinem Werk und erzählt über die Lebensgeschichten der Menschen, mit denen er oft weiter in Kontakt bleibt, wie zum Beispiel mit aus Deutschland nach Serbien, Kosovo oder Bosnien-Herzegowina abgeschobenen Jugendlichen. Und er spricht auch darüber, wie Fotografien Menschen stigmatisieren können und wie er in seiner Photographie Klischees vermeidet.

The photographer Nihad Nino Pušija (Berlin/Sarajevo) shows photos from his oeuvre and tells the stories of the people he met and with whom often stays in contact. As for example with young people who were deported from Germany to Serbia, Kosovo or Bosnia-Herzegovina. And he discusses also how photos can stigmatize people and how he avoids clichés in his photography.

Nihad Nino Pušijas Schwerpunkte liegen auf Politik der Anerkennung, Minderheitenpositionen in der zeitgenössischen künstlerischen und kuratorischen Praxis, auf Südosteuropa, Flüchtlingsthemen, Konfliktlösung und Integration und Roma in Europa. Er war Teil des 1. und 2. Roma-Pavillons auf der Biennale Arte in Venedig in den Jahren 2007 und 2011.

Nihad Nino Pušija’s main topics are the politics of recognition, minority positions in contemporary artistic and curatorial practice, Southeast Europe, refugees, conflict resolution, integration and Roma in Europe. He was part of the 1st and 2nd Roma Pavilion at the Biennale Arte in Venice in 2007 and 2011.
